SUGGESTED READING LIST
Updated: Feb 5, 2022
Any author is a voracious reader. Having written three books of my own, I love exploring how other writers express their thoughts, ideas and innovative perspectives.
In fact, I've been an avid reader since my mom first took me to the library when I was just eighteen months old.
Back then, each week she'd let me check out 20+ books and we'd devour them together.
All these years I still read as many hard copy books as I can (yes, I still love to actually hold the book and smell the pages).
And I listen to even more books (on long walks with the dogs, in the sauna, cooking, making the bed — so many moments to learn something new!).
Here's a recent stack....
Often, friends, clients, family members and colleagues ask me for book recommendations about trauma recovery, business development, personal growth, spiritual transformation, and neuroscience.
The following shortlist of compiled recommendations spans quite a few categories in those subjects, including:
high performance habits
trauma recovery (of course!)
business growth and development
All of the represented topics cover a range of subjects that I believe are essential in building a quality life filled with intention both personally and professionally. This is what I'm always focused on doing -- I hope it helps you too.
AND: I believe these types of books are essential for combining that quality life with the fun process of creating a meaningful professional presence that helps people and makes a difference in the world.
